Hello & welcome to my website!

I'm Tara......

​

......a fifty something female, married with two grown up sons and blessed with four gorgeous grandchildren.  A woman passionate about supporting families to jump the hurdles that life puts in their path.

​

My aim is to generally walk alongside a family, supporting and empowering as a whole unit.  I appreciate there may be obvious areas that need addressing but changes will affect everyone, the dynamics of the household will shift. Apart from a fair amount of life experience, I have been an Outreach Worker at a Children's Centre for over 10 years, am currently a Family Support Worker by day for two local schools and outside of this am running sessions & workshops for children and their families.

I use a therapeutic play-based approach that enables me to support adults in understanding children's behaviour as communication. 

​

My work with you will totally depend upon your personal struggles and will be tailored to suit your family's individual needs.

​

Not only am I able to support you as parents with your children's behaviours but I also work individually with adults around their own wellbeing, sometimes the combination of these sessions is all that is needed to restore the balance within the home.

Thrive Practitioner (Play Therapy), Playworker, ACE's & Early Trauma, Child Attachment, Mental Health Awareness, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), Interoception Based Support, Storytelling, Journal Therapy & Facilitator of Parent Workshops
